It’s time to find that sewing machine, dust it off replace the needle, and make your way to the Caribou Learning Center for fall quilt classes.
Classes will begin Monday, September 11th, and run for 10 consecutive Mondays.
Afternoon classes will be held from 1:00 - 4:00 PM and evening classes will be held from 5:30 - 8:30 PM.
There will be no specified project for this session. We’re calling it “Fall Finish-up.” It seems that many of us have projects languishing on shelves, just waiting to be completed. Here’s your chance to do that, get some help in the process, and visit with fellow quilters while you stitch. And if by chance you should be one of those rare quilters who completes each project you start, the instructor - in this case, Judy Babbidge, will be more than happy to help you find something new.
To reserve your spot in one of these Monday classes, call the Adult Ed. center at 493-4272. Space is limited, and classes will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
And please refer back to this web site periodically. Plans are in progress for short, project specific sessions to be offered on Thursdays and/or Saturdays starting later in September. Information about those classes will be posted here.
Judy Babbidge (Caribou Quilting instructor), Ruth Bradbury and students organized this day trip to share their passion of quilting together.
Students travel to the Learning Center from all over the county to attend classes with Judy. Although all the students were not able to go on this trip, the bus was full.
Quilting is more than a craft, it's a way of life!!!
