The ServSafe® program is developed by the National Restaurant Association by training experts in the food service industry on food safety through tests and educational materials. Through our experts you can obtain the ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification, accredited by the Conference for Food Protection (CFP) of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), which is valid for five years and recognized by the Program of Maine Health Inspection.

The program combines the latest FDA Food Code, food safety research, and years of food sanitation training experience. We will prepare you to manage food sanitation risks and to create a culture of food safety. All content and materials help define food safety best practices as identified by foodservice industry experts.

ServSafe® is the food safety program accepted by the State of Maine and rooted in the foodservice industry to help you protect the health of customers, improve employee performance and preserve the reputation of your business. By creating a culture of food safety you can motivate employees to follow safe and hygienic food handling practices. Participants who pass the exam will receive their industry-recognized ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification.

The review uses the ServSafe® Essentials textbook, and is structured to include the information you will need to prepare for ANSI-CFP accredited exams, and perform on the job. ServSafe® training blends lecture and activities in a way that constantly engages the learner with food safety content. ServSafe® training covers critical principles including personal hygiene, cross contamination, time and temperature, receiving and storage, food safety management systems, training hourly employees and more. Once students pass the examination, they are awarded the ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification, which is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Conference for Food Protection (CFP).

Each one-day review includes the examination. A photo ID is required to take the exam. Results at the computer dash base of the exam are posted usually within 10 business days.
